"We are discussing what we will do further to strengthen the D-8 (Islamic Eight) organization. Currently, the organization is chaired by Bangladesh. We have set goals; we have 2030 goals. We need to reconsider these goals," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview with TV 100, Report informs.
"It is necessary to expand this organization. Azerbaijan applied to become a member of it. For example, can we make the organization D-20? We worked on this during our chairmanship of D-8. The criteria for membership need to be specified," said the head of the MFA.
