A delegation headed by the Chairman of the Supreme Court and Judicial-Legal Council of Azerbaijan, Inam Karimov, visited Georgia at the invitation of the Chairman of the Georgian Supreme Court and High Council of Justice, Nino Kadagidze, Report informs.
During the meeting at the Supreme Court of Georgia, Kadagidze hailed the successful development of friendly relations between the two countries in various spheres, according to the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan.
Karimov, in turn, emphasized that the high level of interstate relations creates broad opportunities for deepening cooperation in the legal sphere.
The Azerbaijani delegation presented information about the ongoing judicial and legal reforms in the country during the meeting.
As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation also held a meeting with representatives of Georgia’s High School of Justice. Additionally, a meeting with Georgian judges was held at the High Council of Justice, where information about the work of the Judicial-Legal Council of Azerbaijan was presented.
