Aykhan Hajizada: 41 Azerbaijani citizens evacuated from Iran

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran, the Consulate General in Tabriz, as well as the embassy in Israel are reviewing appeals from citizens received on hotlines and taking necessary measures, Aykhan Hajizada, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, said.
Report quotes him as saying as a result of the steps taken, the crossing of 41 Azerbaijani citizens, including family members of embassy staff, through the Iranian-Azerbaijani border has been ensured.
Hajizada noted that Azerbaijan's diplomatic missions in Iran continue their work.
