Assistant to President of Azerbaijan, Ambassador of Kazakhstan discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation

Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan successfully cooperate in the international arena, as noted at a meeting between Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, and Alim Bayel, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the country.

Report informs citing the Kazakh embassy that the sides noted the accelerating pace of bilateral cooperation. The parties also discussed current issues on the regional and international agenda.

Particular attention was paid to the topics of transport and logistics cooperation and communications. The importance of the upcoming 10th anniversary summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which will be held on November 3, 2023 in Astana, was also emphasized.

Hikmat Hajiyev thanked fraternal Kazakhstan for its support and constructive approach to the development of bilateral and multilateral relations and resolving regional issues.

In turn, Ambassador Bayel noted that Kazakhstan stands for peace and mutually beneficial cooperation in the region.
