Armenians' politically motivated crime abroad - form of international terrorism - OPINION

The actions of Armenians living in various countries against the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan can be regarded as a politically motivated organized crime, which is one of the forms of international terrorism, member of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan told Report.

"The entire civilized world must unite to fight international terrorism and destroy the source of the asymmetric threat. The recent events, namely the attacks on the Azerbaijani embassies in the US, Great Britain and France, can be characterized as terrorism. The main difference between these actions and all other types of crimes is that they are politically motivated and occurred after the last large-scale military provocation of Armenia against Azerbaijan on September 12-14," Nasirov said.

He noted that the special security agencies of the United States, Great Britain and France did not fulfill their duties. Moreover, by their inaction they indirectly supported the manifestation of international terrorism.

"The approach in these three countries can create a domino effect, i.e. similar steps can be taken against the embassies of Azerbaijan in other countries. This is unacceptable," Nasirov said.
