Anila Ali: World does not hear voices of Muslim women

Today the world does not hear the voices of Muslim women, but women must be part of peacebuilding, Chairwoman of the American Muslim and Multifaith Women’s Empowerment Council Anila Ali said at the “Embracing Diversity: Tackling Islamophobia in 2024” international conference in Baku, Report informs.

She noted that violence against women not only seriously damages Islam, but also increases Islamophobia.

“Today, women believers create their own organizations and take part in peacebuilding, which is very important. We need lasting peace, and women must also be a leading force in this process.”
