AnewZ launches new platform for publishing expert opinions

Azerbaijani TV channel AnewZ has launched a new platform on its website for publishing expert analyses — the Opinion section.

According to Report's correspondent, the platform was officially presented during the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum.

The presentation, which featured Rufat Khamzayev, Director of AnewZ TV, drew strong interest from international forum participants.

The Opinion section will serve as a space for analytical and opinion pieces by experts from the South Caucasus, Central Asia, the Middle East, and other regions. The platform’s unique feature is its emphasis on “voices from within the region” — perspectives that reflect local contexts, mindsets, and realities, rather than external interpretations of events.

At the conclusion of the event, attendees were shown AnewZ’s documentary “Destination Shusha,” highlighting the history, cultural heritage, and modern development of Shusha, the symbolic cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
