Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s recent official visit to Azerbaijan marks a pivotal moment in strengthening bilateral relations, Fathudin Ali Mohamed, the non-resident Ambassador of Somalia to Azerbaijan, said in a statement to Report.
According to the ambassador, President Mohamud praised Azerbaijan’s hospitality and described the visit as the beginning of a strategic partnership.
"During the visit, the two countries signed key agreements in education, energy, defense, and governance, reinforcing their dedication to mutual growth and collaboration. This visit underscores a shared commitment to expanding international partnerships and advancing common interests, paving the way for a stronger and more strategic alliance," said Ali Mohamed.
