Ambassador: Poland building up economic dialogue with Azerbaijan

Poland is building up economic dialogue with Azerbaijan, Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Rafal Poborski said at the Poland-Azerbaijan business forum in Baku on October 20, Report informs.

The diplomat reminded that the second delegation of representatives of Azerbaijani companies had recently visited Poland. “The activation of business ties will allow deepening economic cooperation with Azerbaijan,” the ambassador added.

He noted that Azerbaijan and Poland also actively continue to develop cooperation in the field of tourism. Thus, in September of this year, the first delegation of representatives of Azerbaijani travel agencies visited Poland. In addition, this year the Polish airline LOT opened a direct Baku-Warsaw flight.

Ambassador Rafal Poborski stressed that Poland continues to look for new areas of cooperation with Azerbaijan, one of which may be IT.
