Ambassador: Philippines, Azerbaijan to discuss visa facilitation

By the end of this year, Azerbaijan and the Philippines will discuss the possibility of simplifying the visa regime, Non-Resident Ambassador of the Philippines to Azerbaijan Henry Bensurto told Report.

The diplomat noted that bilateral relations were established not so long ago, they are at a good level and he is doing everything possible to develop and strengthen them.

"Simplification of visa exchange between our countries will provide an opportunity for mutual trips not only for our diplomats, but also for ordinary citizens. This issue is part of the ongoing negotiations with the government of Azerbaijan. In this regard, we have scheduled bilateral consultations. I hope that during the discussions, an appropriate decision will be made in the direction of simplifying the process of obtaining visas between Azerbaijan and the Philippines," Bensurto added.
