Ambassador: Pakistan and Azerbaijan will continue to support each other on international arena

Day of Pakistan has been celebrated in Baku.

According to Report, the event was attended by Ambassador of Pakistan in Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee.

The ambassador first raised the flag of the country under the national anthem of Pakistan.

"Today is very important for our country, this is the day of unification of Pakistanis. On March 23, 1956, we gained sovereignty and every year, we celebrate this day with reverence," Bilal Hayee said.

He noted that Azerbaijan and Pakistan are bound by fraternal relations.

He also thanked Azerbaijan for supporting Pakistan within the framework of various international platforms.

"Our fraternal countries always supported and will continue to support each other in the international arena," the ambassador added.
