Ambassador on opening of Russia-Azerbaijan land borders

“The land borders of the two countries are closed by the decisions of the task forces of Azerbaijan and Russia, and it is still difficult to say when a decision will be made to open them,” Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov said at a press conference, Report informs.
However, according to him, against this background, there was an increase in the volume of air transportation of passengers.
“At present, already 9 Russian airlines operate many flights every week between Russian cities and Baku. There are also airlines that have requested to launch flights to other cities of Azerbaijan,” he said.
Also, as the ambassador noted, it is planned to open sea tourism with passenger ships in the Caspian Sea.
