France is the last country to give lessons about international law and human rights, the Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Algeria, Youcef Houri, said at the international conference “Neo-colonialism: violation of human rights and injustice”, organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), Report informs.
"I want to talk about several genocides. For example, France committed genocide against Algerians at different times. These genocides were carried out from 1945 to 1952. In the first one, they deprived all people—children, the elderly, in short, every one of their lives. The second genocide was committed in southern Algeria in 1952. At that time, 2,500 people were killed in an area with a population of 3,500. In 1961, 300 Algerians were killed in Paris. France subjected a nation to genocide using heavy weapons. And now it is trying to teach a lesson about human rights,” he added.
