Age of Turkic World conference being held in Ankara

The conference “The Age of the Turkic World: A New Model in Political and Economic Relations” is taking place in Ankara, Report informs.

The meeting is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Turkish Republic.

The conference was attended by the Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmus, deputies of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Rashad Mahmudov, Ramil Hasan and others.

Kurtulus noted that the great leader Heydar Aliyev left a great legacy not only for Azerbaijan, but also for the entire Turkic world.

He emphasized that relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are developing in all areas: “We believe that this will be an example for the entire Turkic world.”

The speaker also expressed hope for achieving stability in the South Caucasus: “This will become possible thanks to the joint efforts of Türkiye and Azerbaijan.”
