Abdullah Gul became honorary doctor of ADA University

Baku. 30 April. REPORT.AZ / Eleventh President of Turkey Abdullah Gul became honorary doctor of the University of the ADA.

Report informs, today rector of the ADA Hafiz Pashayev awarded former President of Turkey with Honorary Diploma of the University.

H. Pashayev noted that it is a very significant day in the history of the ADA. Rector emphasized Turkey's role in the development of political and cultural ties with Azerbaijan.

In turn, A. Gul thanked H. Pashayev for awarding the title of Honorary Doctor of the ADA. He noted the role of President Ilham Aliyev in the establishment of the University of the ADA, which is one of the best universities in Azerbaijan.

Besides, A. Gul stressed the importance of human capital development for the overall development of the country: "Countries may be rich in natural resources, or be a leader in any other sphere, but the most important is the development of human potential".
