Guadeloupe's independence must be achieved within the framework of international law, Abbas Abbasov, Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), said at the international conference "Towards the Decolonization of Guadeloupe: Challenges and Perspectives" held in Baku on June 25, Report informs.
According to Abbasov, Guadeloupe suffers from French colonialism: "I believe that its independence will be achieved within the framework of international law."
