WMF World Cup: Mauritania beats Bahrain in Group A clash

The WMF World Cup in Baku kicked off the second round of the group stage on Friday.

According to Report, in another match in Group A, Mauritania secured a 2-0 victory over Bahrain at the National Gymnastics Arena.

Earlier in the group, Mauritania held Slovenia to a 1-1 draw, while Bahrain played out a 1-1 stalemate against hosts Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijan national team is set to take on Slovenia later today at 08:45 (GMT+4).

With seven more matches scheduled for the day, the tournament continues to heat up as teams push toward the June 1 finale.
