Vice president of World Minifootball Federation: Azerbaijan organized world cup at high level

Vice President of the World Minifootball Federation Peter Kralik told journalists that the World Cup in Baku is different from previous ones, and it was clear from the very beginning that the tournament would be held at a high level, Report informs.

The representative of the federation also called the Azerbaijani team one of the strongest in the tournament: "The World Cup in Azerbaijan is significantly different from previous ones. For example, last year the tournament was held in the UAE - there, the stadium was built in the open air, right on the shore. The main difference is that this time the host team is among the three strongest participants. Therefore, it was clear from the very beginning that Azerbaijan would organize the world cup at the highest level. The arena, the transportation of the teams - everything is great. I am sure that this tournament will raise minifootball to new heights and open the way to greater success in the future. I thank the organizers."

Peter Kralik also stressed that the Azerbaijani team is under serious pressure: "The tournament is taking place in difficult conditions for the Azerbaijani team, because the team is playing under great pressure and a lot is expected of it. This increases the psychological tension. Playing at home is not only an honor, but also a great responsibility, because the hosts are always expected to give the best possible result."
