Restaurant, shop of ethnic Azerbaijani ex-footballer closed in Iran

The restaurant and jewelry store of Ali Daei, the ethnic Azerbaijani former football player of the Iranian national team, have been sealed, Report informs via Azad Iran.
The 53-year-old veteran striker had announced that his stores would be closed on December 14-16 to support the protestors.
Ali Daei expressed his solidarity with the protesters in the recent events that took place in Iran, and for this reason, his passport was confiscated. The legendary player of the Iranian national team also announced that he did not go to the world championship held in Qatar due to the situation in the country. Later, he and his family were threatened.
