Qarabag-Basel game to be held at Baku Olympic Stadium

The stadium to host the Qarabag (Azerbaijan)-Basel (Switzerland) match within the first round of the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage has been revealed, Report informs with reference to UEFA's official website.

The match won’t be held at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium, as previously planned.

The game will take place at the Baku Olympic Stadium. The reason for the change of arena is the inappropriate state of the grass cover at the Republican Stadium.

The match will take place on September 16 and start at 20:45 Baku time (GMT+4).
