Players get into scuffle in Azerbaijan U17 championship

Baku. 2 March. REPORT.AZ/ Players got into scuffle in match between “Zira” and “Neftchi” of U17 Azerbaijan championships.

Report informs, “Zira” player Ramil Mammadbagirov and “Neftchi” player Mehman Mansimov were instigators of the incident.

They were involved in massive fight after the game. AFFA disciplinary committee imposed 5-game ban for both players. “Zira” and “Neftchi” clubs were warned that they will face more severe sanctions upon repetition of the incident.

Notably, another sanction has been imposed on “Zira” player Murad Mammadov for second yellow card at 84th minute of the match. He will miss next game.
