Montenegro minifootball player hails Baku venue as the grandest he's ever played at

Montenegro national team player Đuro Mugoša, whose side edged past Poland 1–0 to reach the quarterfinals of the WMF World Cup in Baku, praised the scale and atmosphere of the tournament's main venue.

Speaking to Report, Mugoša highlighted both the impressive facilities and the flawless organization of the event.

"Without a doubt, the Azerbaijan national team is the favorite to win this World Cup. They're a very strong side. The organization of the tournament is top-notch. And the National Gymnastics Arena — it's the grandest venue I’ve ever played at," said the Montenegrin player.

Reflecting on the hard-fought round of 16 victory, he added:

"It was a very tough match. Probably our best performance so far. We came out on top, but I'm exhausted — Poland is a strong team. We'll do everything we can to finish first."
