Manchester City sets new Champions League record for English clubs

English club Manchester City has set a new record in the UEFA Champions League.

According to Report, the Citizens achieved this by winning 3:1 in the first game of the 1/8 final stage of the tournament against the Copenhagen team of Denmark.

The team coached by Josep Guardiola won the 9th match in a row in the continent's number one club tournament. Seven of them were in the current season and two were in the previous season. This is the longest winning streak in the competition among English clubs.
