Man United submits €80M bid to sign Barcelona star

Manchester United has submitted an €80m (£69m) bid for Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez, according to Spanish publication Fichajes, Report informs GiveMeSport.

The Old Trafford side has reportedly registered its interest with an initial proposal for the 22-year-old Spain international, and Barcelona are said to be considering it.

Lopez faces an uncertain future at the Catalan club this season, as he is not guaranteed regular minutes under head coach Hansi Flick and could end up leaving before the transfer deadline.

There is a feeling that his Nou Camp departure could be one of the biggest deals of the summer, although he has yet to open the door to a move to Man United.

Fermin, who made his senior Barcelona debut in August 2023, has four years left on his contract, having penned a new extension less than 12 months ago.
