Lukaku set longest scoring streak in a Europe club competition, Report informs, citing the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
In the Europa League first match-day, Romelu Lukaku has scored a goal for Roma in away game vs Sheriff (2-1). This goal inscribed his name in the history of European football.
It was Lukaku’s 12th consecutive scoring game in Europa League. No one player had such a long streak in any of European club competitions.
The previous record belonged to Cristiano Ronaldo who netted in 11 games in a row in the Champions League between 3 June 2017 and 11 April 2018.
