Israel Minifootball Federation: WMF World Cup in Baku very well organized

The Minifootball World Cup (2025 WMF World Cup) in Baku is very well organized, Guy Weinerman, a representative of the Israel Minifootball Federation, told Report.

Weinerman said that he enjoyed the opening ceremony of the 2025 WMF World Cup held in Baku:

"The opening was really excellent. What we saw here surprised us in the best sense of the word. I cannot express in words the atmosphere that was there. The National Gymnastics Arena is very beautiful. I have previously participated in 4 international tournaments with the Israeli national team. Those competitions were also well organized. But Azerbaijan is different."

He also commented on their loss to the Serbian national team:

"We faced one of the most difficult opponents in the World Cup. Although we did our best, the result was not encouraging. The opponent's squad consists of strong players. We tried to build our game more from defense. I can say with certainty that this is not our best performance. We will try to achieve better results in the next matches."

The Israeli national team lost 0:3 to Serbia in their first match in Group H.
