French referees to officiate Qarabag vs Bayer 04 match

Qarabag's first match against the German club Bayer 04 in the finals of 16 of the UEFA Europa League will be officiated by a French refereeing team.

Report informs that referee Benoit Bastien, 40, has been appointed chief referee.

He will be assisted by Hicham Zakrani and Aurélien Berthomieu, with Jérémie Pignard serving as reserve referee.

Benoît Millot will be in charge of VAR, assisted by Eric Wattellier. The match inspector will be Ichko Lozev from Bulgaria.

Qarabag will encounter Bayer 04 on March 7 at 21:45 at the Republican Stadium named after Tofiq Bahramov. The second-leg match will take place next week in Leverkusen.
