FIFA referee Elchin Masiyev to officiate match at U21 Euro

FIFA-listed Azerbaijani referee Elchin Masiyev has been appointed to officiate the Group C match between Georgia and Portugal in the third round of the UEFA U21 European Championship group stage in Slovakia.

Report informs, citing AFFA’s press service, that Masiyev will be assisted on the lines by Elshad Abdullayev and Parvin Talibov, with Alexis Herrera of Venezuela serving as the fourth official.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 08:00 pm (GMT+4) on June 17 at the Štadión Sihoť in the city of Trenčín.

On June 12, Masiyev was in charge of the Group A encounter between Czech Republic and England (1:3).
