Chelsea are interested in signing Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid and they have already submitted an offer for him, Report informs via CaughtOffside.
According to Portuguese publication O Jogo, the La Liga outfit have received an offer from Chelsea worth around €65 million (£56 million). The Spanish club would receive €35 million upfront with the remaining €30 million to be paid later.
It will be interesting to see if Atletico Madrid are willing to accept the offer and let the 24-year-old Portuguese international leave the club permanently.
Felix was on loan at Barcelona last season and he impressed with his performances. He has previously been on loan at Chelsea as well.
The opportunity to join the Premier League club permanently could be an attractive one for him. He will look to sort out his long-term future and focus on his football.
The 24-year-old has the physical and technical attributes to do well in English football and he should be able to settle in quickly and make an instant impact at Stamford Bridge given his prior experience.
