Chad representative highly appreciates opening ceremony of WMF World Championship in Baku

President of the Chad Minifootball Federation Mahamat Issak Soga highly praised the opening ceremony of the WMF World Cup in Baku.

In an interview with Report, the president expressed confidence that the Azerbaijan national team will reach the final:

"The organization is at the highest level. Thirty-two teams are participating, and this is also good in terms of establishing international relations. In addition, the opening ceremony of the World Cup held in Azerbaijan was one of the best in the last four tournaments. We hope everything will continue at the same high level until the very end, and Azerbaijan will reach the final. Why not? After all, it's the host country."

The federation representative also commented on his team's performance:

"The game was a bit difficult. We lost 0:3. To advance to the round of 16, we needed a draw or a win. Unfortunately, Uzbekistan surpassed us. Next time we will try to do our best. We had several opportunities but couldn't score. This is football — if you don't use your chance, you can lose."
