Ankaragucu president resigns

Faruk Koca, the president of Turkish football club Ankaragucu, has resigned, the club’s press service said, Report informs.

Koca apologized to referee Halil Umut Meler, his family, the sports community and the people.

Faruk Koca, was arrested on Tuesday for punching a referee in the face at the end of a match, with the official telling police that Koca had threatened to kill him.
