World Bank increases its forecasts on Azerbaijan’s economic growth

The World Bank (WB) predicts 4.2% growth in the real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Azerbaijan this year and 2.8% in 2023, the bank's Europe and Central Asia Economic Update said, Report informs.
According to the report, this is 1.5% and 0.6%, respectively, higher than the World Bank's June forecast.
The World Bank expects Azerbaijan's economy to grow by 2.6% in 2024, 0.3 percentage points higher than the previous forecast.
