Turkish lira drops to new record low against dollar

At the beginning of the trading on Monday, the Turkish lira dropped to a new record low against the US dollar, while the dollar/lira rate reached 23.77.
Report informs via Turkish media that investors are waiting for signals on changes in monetary policy after the appointment of the new governor of the Central Bank who is expected to increase the rates.
The dollar/lira was traded at 23.6 after reaching a record high before the start of the current session.
