Turkish currency exchange rate set at 12.03 lira per dollar

The US dollar exchange rate against the Turkish lira on December 29 was set at 12.03 after the announcement of the exchange rate policy by the Central Bank for next year, Report informs.

The exchange rate of the US dollar against the euro is 13.59 lira.

The regulator also unveiled earlier a plan for its monetary and exchange rate policy for the new year. The bank intends to maintain a floating exchange rate regime for the national currency, as well as a medium-term inflation target at 5%.
