Turkey's largest bank opens its branch in Shusha

Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan, a subsidiary of Turkey's largest bank Ziraat Bank in Azerbaijan, is preparing to open a Karabakh branch, Report reports, citing Chairman of the Board of Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan OJSC Avni Demirci.
"We are looking for a suitable place for a new branch in Shusha. By opening a branch in Karabakh, we plan to provide preferential loans to entrepreneurs from the region, both through government agencies and with our resources," Demirci said.
The banker also noted that the Caspian Energy Club, which he represents, has opened a representative office in Turkey.
"Through this office, we will attract investment to Karabakh from Turkey and other Black Sea countries," he said.
