Total assets of 12 Azerbaijani investment companies up by 32% in 2024

The combined assets of 12 investment companies operating in Azerbaijan's securities market amounted to 236.267 million manats as of January 1, 2025.

According to Report, this represents a 31.5% increase compared to January 1, 2024.

In 2024, eight companies increased their assets, while four saw a decrease.

The total liabilities of these investment companies rose by 37.6% over the reporting year, reaching 182.751 million manats. Nine companies increased their liabilities, while three reduced them.

In 2024, the total equity capital of the investment companies grew by 14.3% to 53.515 million manats, and their total charter capital increased by 20.9% to 21.593 million manats. Eight market participants increased their equity capital, and four raised their charter capital.
