Taleh Kazimov: Azerbaijan's strategic foreign exchange reserves exceed $77B

Azerbaijan's strategic foreign exchange reserves have reached $77.7 billion, which is 9.4% more compared to the beginning of the year, announced Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Report informs.
"This means an increase of $6.7 billion in 6 months. Our strategic foreign exchange reserves are sufficient to finance 3 years of imports and this is an incredibly high indicator," the governor noted during a press conference dedicated to the decision of the CBA regarding the parameters of the interest rate corridor.
