State Payment Portal carries out transactions to the tune of AZN4.1 billion in 2021

In 2021, the State Payment Portal (HÖP) processed 59.9 million payment transactions, worth AZN4.1 billion, 58% of which were carried out in non-cash form, Report informs, citing the Review of Payment Systems, published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The HÖP, established in Azerbaijan for the centralized collection of payments to the state budget, has so far integrated 11 central executive authorities, three state agencies, four utilities, five fixed and mobile operators, 116 judicial authorities, 19 insurance companies, 1,438 municipal bodies, and other socially significant institutions.

Payments for more than 1,100 services can be made in cash and non-cash form in 26 banks, in 2,500 branches and departments of Azerpoct LLC, owned by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, and payment terminals, the number of which is almost 4,000 units.
