SOFAZ's gold reserves increase by 44%

As of January 1, 2025, the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) has 146.6 tons of gold in its reserves, which is 44.8 tons or 44% more year-on-year, Report informs, citing the fund.

The share of gold in SOFAZ's investment portfolio increased from 12% to 20.6%.

The share of bonds and other money market instruments in SOFAZ's investment portfolio was 46.9%. This is 10.8 percentage points less year-on-year.

The share of stocks increased from 24.3% to 26.6%, while the share of real estate decreased from 6% to 5.9%.
