SOFAZ purchases about 16 tons of gold in Q2

The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) purchased 15.8 tons of gold in the second quarter of this year, Report informs, citing the Fund.
According to the data, as of July 1, the share of gold in SOFAZ's investment portfolio amounted to 28.8%, which is 3 percentage points higher compared to April 1. This increase was driven by both the purchase of gold and the rise in its price.
