SOFAZ completes first-quarter budget obligations

During the first quarter of 2025, the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) transferred over 3.62 billion manats (approximately $2.13 billion) to the state budget, fully meeting its quarterly commitment, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Finance.

This amount represents an increase of 425 million manats (nearly $250 million) or 13.3% compared to the same period last year.

For 2025, SOFAZ is set to transfer a total of 14.481 billion manats (just over $8.518 billion) to the state budget, reinforcing its role in supporting fiscal stability.
