Share of Turkic states in global economy was about 2% in 2024

The total GDP of the Turkic states in 2024 was $2.1 trillion, reads the issue of the Turkic Economic Review, Report informs.
At the end of 2024, the share of the Turkic states in the world GDP was 1.8%.
The population of the Turkic countries at the beginning of 2025 is 178.8 million people or 2.8% of the world's population.
"These indicators show that the Turkic states hold an important place from both an economic and demographic point of view," the document notes.
In addition, according to the information, in the reporting period, the Turkic states demonstrated higher rates of economic growth - the GDP of the countries of the region grew by 5.2% against the growth of the world economy by 3.2%.
