Russia’s Central Bank raises discount rate for fifth time in 2021

Central Bank of Russia has increased the discount rate by 0.21 percentage points from 6.5% to 6.75%, Report informs, citing the Russian media.
The Central Bank increased the interest rate from 4.25% to 4.5% on March 19, from 4.5% to 5% on April 23, from 5% to 5.5% on June 11, from 5.5% to 6.5% on July 23.
