Problem loans 28% down in Azerbaijan

As of July 1, 2022, overdue loans in Azerbaijan amounted to 661.2 million manats ($389.5 million), 1.9% less than on June 1, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
Problem loans in the country decreased by 8.1% compared to the beginning of the year, and by 27.7% year-on-year.
By the end of June, the specific weight of overdue loans in the total loan portfolio was 3.5%. This rate was 4.2% at the end of 2021, and 6% at the end of June 2021.
