President: Non-oil sector up by 4,4 % since start of year

Baku. 12 July. REPORT.AZ/Since the beginning of the year, non-oil economy has increased by 1,7 % and the non-oil sector by 4,4 %.
Report informs that said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting dedicated to the results of the social economic development in the first half of 2017 and the tasks standing ahead.
According to him, this year, nvestments in the amount of 5 billion USD have been made in the country's economy. Azerbaijan's foreign exchange reserves are now $40,6 billion.
"The present economic stability must be maintained, consumption costs must be observed and artificial increase in prices must be prevented," head of state noted.
