Orlova: SDG digital dashboard may also be useful for Azerbaijan

A digital dashboard of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and a thematic information bulletin have been developed, which may also be useful for Azerbaijan, Svetlana Orlova, an auditor of the Accounts Chamber of Russia, said at the 62nd meeting of the Board of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) in Baku, Report informs.

According to her, the SDGs digital dashboard was created under the responsibility of China, and the accumulated experience can be shared with other countries, including Azerbaijan.

"These tools can become an important means for countries to achieve the SDGs," she noted.

Orlova added that it is important to institutionally strengthen supreme audit institutions 'since their function of control over state resources and their overall potential are very high.'
