Number of POS terminals accepting contactless payments up by 41% in Azerbaijan

In 2024, Azerbaijan had 117,300 POS terminals accepting contactless payments, 41.4% more than in 2023, according to the annual Digital Payments Review of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

Last year, POS terminals accepting contactless payments accounted for 98.1% of all POS terminals in the country.
