Number of contactless cards soars by 63% in Azerbaijan

As of July 1, 2022, in Azerbaijan, the number of contactless payment cards made up 8.8 million, up 63% from the previous year, Report informs citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
By the end of June this year, contactless cards accounted for 69.4% of all payment cards. This rate was 52% for the same period last year.
