Non-cash payments in Azerbaijan up by 47%

Baku. 12 May. REPORT.AZ/ 3,782 million operations for a total of AZN 257 million were made through ATMs and POS-terminals in Azerbaijan during January-March, 2017.
Report informs referring to the monthly report of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to report, volume of non-cash transactions grew by 46.86% or AZN 82 million in annual comparison.
Transactions for total of AZN 189 million made via POS-terminals, AZN 68 million – via ATMs. The volume of non-cash payments through POS-terminals grew by 87.13% or AZN 88 million, through ATMs it decreased by 8.11% or AZN 6 million.
