Net profit of Southern Gas Corridor CJSC drops by almost 21%

The net profit of Southern Gas Corridor” (SGC) CCSC in 2023 was just over $1.277 billion, which is 20.6% less than in 2022, according to a report from the company, Report informs.

During the same period, the company’s income increased to over $3.066 billion (15.7% more), while revenues reached just under $612 million (1.8 times more).

At the end of 2023, SGC’s operating income amounted to more than $2.006 billion (1.4% more). Simultaneously, the company’s financial expenses increased to just over $561.2 million (1.8% more).

The pre-tax profit for SGC at the end of 2023 was $1.634 billion (3.6% more).

Regarding assets, “South Gas Corridor” CJSC had total assets of over $15.165 billion (10% more) by the end of 2023. This included short-term assets of over $3.586 billion (2 times more) and long-term assets of more than $11.579 billion (3.4% less).

SGC’s liabilities at the beginning of the year amounted to just under $8.197 billion (1.4% more). This included short-term liabilities of over $3.145 billion (3.5 times more) and long-term liabilities of over $5.051 billion (29.6% less).

By the end of 2023, the company’s capital stood at just under $6.969 billion (22.2% more), including the unchanged authorized capital of over $2.415 billion.
